Plastic bags will be forbidden in Romania

Starting from early 2019, shopping for Romanians will never be the same!

Thin plastic transportation bags will be totally forbidden in shops, considering their bad impact on the environment and the new EU Regulations. Shopkeepers will only be allowed to pack products and groceries in either paper or thick, reusable plastic bags. Companies who don’t follow these rules will risk fines up to 5.000 Euros.
